She's most likely not gonna respond that way. She's probably gonna feel insulted, not give you the chance to use the second half and just flip you off for being a jerk. Same thing with your quote man, it's an insult, not a neg. You need to be more funny, less cocky.

I think the key to negging is in your body language, facial expressions, and the way you laugh afterwords. I've been playing with it, and it is easy to take it too far.

I've watched Mystery's hidden camera videos, and he is very good at the subtle negs. I don't care too much for his DHVing by using his friends thing, but his magic tricks are pretty cool, and his subtle negs are pretty good, too.

The neg that recently took it too far for me?
