ok here is the situ:
met this great girl and there deffo. seems to be a level of interest between us but the problem is my mate (well not callin him that at moment) is tryin to snake her so what should i do?? :(

simple. make a situation where its her, u, and ur friend. DO not show ioi's to her until she shows 2-3 ioi's to you. this will make you seem more like the prize, which women want. and to lower ur friends status, be alpha, be the dominant male around him, make him follow. DO NOT FOLLOW HIM!!! and if u need advice on being alpha, search this forum for it, theres plenty of advice for it

If you google 'AMOG destroyer', u can find several techniques to deal with AMOGS or potential ones. I don't know how effective they are however, after all they evidently didn't help Style to avoid have his gf snatched by Robbie Williams!
