OK,here's another "what did I do wrong ?"-topic...

Here's the story..

There were like 2 girls on the dancefloor and they weren't really dancing,they just stood there. So I went over and starting talking to them but they were next to the speakers and they didn't understand a word of what I said obviously. So I asked if we could move a way for a minute. Then I started the whole "my friend caught his girlfriend with an other girl,is it cheating ?"-opener and they were like "WTF are u asking us about it ?" I replied with "I just saw how my friend was like crying and I don't have a clue how to help him. Then I saw both of u and I just wanna know your opinion". Then they were like looking at eachother and saying "I don't know really, I can't help u".

Then there was a good song with a lot of beat in it. The DJ turned op the volume just at the moment I asked where they were from. They couldn't understand a word and I didn't want to peck so I raised my voice more and eventually they replied with "Sorry,can't help you...bye"..

What did I do wrong ? o.O

string of bad luck with the music man, ive had stuff like that happen and it sucks for sure. but when they looked at each other an said they cant help you i would have pulled a neg out. but once again with the loud music it would have be tough. i could be wrong tho

heres what i'd have done:
open with a neg about them not dancing
w/ the neg, they will either talk to u or dance w/ u
then u bounce them somewhere by wisperin in her ear "i need to ask you something" then do ur opener that u did that they couldnt help u out with

Who said we can't help you, the target or the obstacle?

That was'nt the best situation or enviroment for that opener. And you dragged them away to ask them a question like that im not suprised they were like WTF, random?
You should have opened with something like 'you know they call that a dancefloor, its for dancing on, i thought i'd come and save you from imbaressment, whats you names? Are you any good at dancing or do you always just stand there like that?' (thats an e.g.)
They say the dance floor is one of the worst places to open, now you know why.
