It would show that you are "pre selected" by other women, but at the same time it isn't classy as you said. So it depends on the context. If you are at a nice dinner.. and you flaunt a hickey it is probly not a good idea. But if you are at a pool party and you only have your suit on and the hickeys are showing it is probably more of a badge of honor.. and because you only have your suit on it doesnt seem like you are flaunting it but rather you are more modest about it.
see the difference?
but yeah i think its a good and bad thing.
