Hey guys.

I didn't exactly know where to ask this, but on more than one occasion (three actually) girls have thought I was gay. I'm not, so I'm obviously giving off some sort of gay vibe...

Of the three, twice the girl asked me to my face (which i of course replied that i wasn't) and then have wanted to kiss me (they weren't at all attractive, so i declined).

I'm not confused at all about my sexuality, but I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong? I'm definitely not the alpha-male type of guy, but I didn't think i came across as a flamer.

What should I do?

What makes you think you're doing anything "wrong?"

I personally don't do the whole acting-gay approach, but it's well-known in the community that it's an effective strategy.

what's odd is that it's not anything i'm doing deliberately, it's just the impression girls get. and i'm not sure if it's what i want them to think... but as i said - the second i tell them i'm not they're all over me like a rash.

maybe the vibe i give off seems like a disqualifier... as the classic says "if i wasn't gay you'd SO be mine"

I'm generally inclined to agree that it gives off a disqualifier vibe. I get mistaken for gay about 30-40% of the time, maybe a little less now, due in large part to my persona and the way I peacock (I go very classy upscale). If a girl I'm interested in has misunderstood, I quickly disabuse the idea as cleverly and flirtatiously as I can and move on. I once was working on a girl who kept shit-testing me by repeatedly making gay cracks all night long, and it just gave me license to keep pushing the envelope because I informed her that every time she called me gay I'd grab her someplace different. She kept doing it, but of course we were also all over each other.

this happened to me once or twice but i responed with " your just jealous that i get hit on by guys more than you" or " do you really think im that attractivce that i get hit on by guys and girls" works like a charm.

Buddy whatever you do keep the gay vibe. i too don't do it deliberately but it makes girls more comfortable around you and it seriously gets results.
