Okay, so I read that and I really prefer a direct approach, which is what I've been doing all this time. The canned approach has never been my frame, but I'm still confused on just exactly how to approach a 2-set and isolate, because I've just recently started attempting 2-sets, or at least thinking about it. Do i need to isolate?

I've read a lot that you cant telegraph interest in her. Is this true? I can imagine in some situations where it is. But what if I tell her that she's attractive, and then proceed with negs? Would that work? Seems kinda contradicting towards myself.

But this makes it extremely difficult in the following situation:

I want to just walk up to a random HB9 at the mall (who is usually with a friend or group of friends). Right off the bat it's gonna seem like I'm hitting on her. Girls aren't dumb. I can't be using any canned shit or "can I have your opinion" openers cus that is just really random. I mean, I do use "can I have your opinion" lines occasionally, but more of as the next sentence after the direct opener.

And what about a HB9 who just passes by me in the oncoming crowd. How do I stop her and make conversation without seeming like I'm hitting on her?

Like how to make it seem natural that I'm not trying to pick them up. How do I keep both girls engaged in a conversation at the same time?

How do I walk away with a number close in a 2-set? I mean, I don't wanna #close both chicks that would be weird.

I understand the thing about giving a false time constraint as well.

I've only been doing single-sets up till now.

First all, all pickups are the same in structure. You may have to tweak them depending on your surroundings and other variables A two set isn't much different than a one set except you have more people to win over.
Focus on her friend first. Ignore her a bit, throwing negs if she begs for attention.

Are you using a wing?
A wing would be able to occupy the time of the second girl while you did your thing with the target.

Just try some things. Of course you may crash a few times but when you get it you'll really get it.

About the part where you tell her she's attractive and then negging is possible with the false disqualifier. It's a complement and a neg together. For example you say "Wow, your such a nice girl (a complement). You could never go out with me (a neg). Don't get scared. All that's going to happen is she is going to say "Why not?". Then she will start DHVing to you. So as long as you act that you are interested when you say that, then she will give you a positive response.

I tried that line before, it just seems random and doesn't work on someone you barely know. Like, it doesn't make sense to say that the person is a nice girl when you just met them.

if she says "why not," then what am I going to reply with? She's not going to DHV me when she doesn't know me. Usually they just say "okay" (which means whatever), and that's that. It doesn't work, trust me.

Can anyone give me some real in-depth help here please? Like how do you personally approach a 2-set without using canned lines. thanks.

The question lies within how you would do direct game if the set is 2 or larger. If its one person, then its clearly very easy where to go and what to say.

But if it consists of more, then its just awkward.

I didn't mean neg her right off the bat. Wait till you've built some comfort. And if you still don't believe me, it's right in the beginning chapters of mystery's book.

If done properly it works. Not open a set and then use it 2 minutes later.

Use it after you've reached the hook point and you know the girl enjoys your company and doesn't want you to leave. I hope by now that you can already tell.

For a moving target (single set) daygame, i find it best to be more direct, but indirect works too depending on what you say. Indirect for nightgame.
If you're worried about having both of their attention then try opening seated sets, it makes it easier to speak to a 2 set or group. Dont tell her (HB 9) she's attractive, say 'nice, friendly, fun, cool watch .etc
And the negs come before the compliments.
go easy on the negs for now and just be fun
