i live in a less-than-huge town, so i'm already aquainted/friends with alot of the local HB's.

i've looked but i haven't been able to find much on how to PU these types.

i'm not trying to pick up girls i hang out with everyday, just girls i know from parties, through friends, and ones that i casually talk with on myspace. that sort of thing.

any advice guys?

I feel where you are coming from on this one. Same problem here. This is definitely not L.A. where I live. I have to travel almost 2 hours just to get to an area that is even target feasible, let alone target rich.

I have wondered about this quite a bit. There are a few girls that I know just on a casual basis that I have not been demoted to "friend" category with yet, but I have blown several opportunities to DHV and A2 with because I didn't know anything about PUA until a few weeks ago. These are girls you say Hey, hows it going to on a regular basis, but not much happens beyond that. I just can't get myself to turn on the PUA and unleash Inner-G on them after being so passive in the past. Any advice in this area would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

I'm from a pretty small town too so I've come across this problem before and thought quite a bit about it.

Lets say you're in a club and see her with a bunch of other people you're not aquainted with: I'd recommend approaching the set as normal and then "realising" that you've met her before. So you approach the set and as she catches your eye say something like "hey, haven't I met you before... at (whoever's) party?". It's important to simply be pleasant as you would be with anyone you bumped into in a club and realised you knew but not to convey and sexual interest. Once that's out of the way continue working the set as normal... Even the fact that you already knew her, yet mearly made pleasantries and continued talking to the group will telegraph disinterest and make your opener seem more genuine.

Id agree with the post above. This is ideal if she is with some less attractive females, you can work the less attractive females and gain there favor and the HB will be more liable to bid for attention feeling that as you knew her prior you should be giving her more attention. The less attractive females will always be more inclined to complement your eligability or ask about you after you leave with will give you a major DHV for pre-selection.
Just remember the basic's, display lack of interest in the HB and to roll-off where possible. As you are already aquainted with one it will also be easy to return to the group later on when her less attractive friends are likely to of enquired about you. If she is with more attractive females or men you may switch taget or win the mens favor with some light humourous conversation.

All these replies are great but i think they kinda missed the point. You mean there are girls you already know so you can't use canned material or other tools which would work on someone you dont know because in those situations you are like a blank canvas and you can paint whatever type of person you want to be.
At the same time it could be easier because they dont have a bitch shield to get through cos they know your not another AMOG. Try to focus on conversation techniques. Delivery is key.

If they are acquaintences then I don't really see a problem. If you aren't LJBF'ed then why not try running regular game on them? I agree, you can't use canned material because they already know a little bit about you and who you are. But other then that, building attraction and comfort can still be the same.

I currently have a girl who I'm some what close with and she has a boyfriend. I've been using some game techniques on her, but only to ensure that I don't get into the friend zone. I feel like its been working for me.

Let you me tell you a key point youre missing out on.

BIG CITY GIRLS = BIG CITY BITCHES.

Small town girls are by far the easiest to pick up, and can also be the most naive. Get some NLP e-books, SS e-books, a C&F attitude and make them fall in "love" with you.

The girls in clubs and at parties are the ones with bitch shields.

So, make the most of your enviornment. Like guy's, a lot of "party" girls or target zoned girls, know they will be targeted, and just like us they will have canned lines.

So. Key point is: Learn SS, but add a little C&F so youre not known as "too serious" and "creepy", and run that game.

This reminds me of a guy I used to know from International Falls, MN.

International Falls is a a very small town. You know the kind, where there is a dead deer (at least) hanging in every garage in late fall.

Anyway, this guy named Vinnie was a total mac. He had literally closed every decent looking girl in International Falls and several nearby towns.

He was totally hated by 90% of the guys there and most of the girls (at least the ones he closed on).

I think small town girls are probably much easier to pick up, if they've never lived anywhere else.

You got to be careful though. Its like Mystery says, in a small tribe, if you approach one of the hot girls and fuck up, she's going to tell all of the other hot girls and kill your chances.

Maybe, but not for guys with an alternative style.

If you peacock like Mystery did when Style wrote about him in the game then you might actually be to wierd for the small town girls
