I was eating dinner at an Applebee's the Round Rock, Texas, playing my game wonderfully getting the attention of the target without talking to her or looking at her. Turns out the Manager on duty also had an interest (that is how I read the situation a few weeks ago) and maybe knew some techniques himself and kicked me out. I was sitting at the bar talking to about 7-8 people at once keeping the "party" going and this 23 year old F***** tapped me on the shoulder telling me I'm causing a disturbance because everyone was looking at me. He used a line "I'm sorry it is illegal for me to serve you more alcohol" I lied and told him I'm a recovering alcoholic and haven't had a drink in 6 months because I didn't drink that night. Which he took as me demeaning him giving me the ultimatum of eating in silence or leaving, I threw a $10 bill at his chest and walked out with confidence.

In the long run with the target, good move? I am perfectly fine with never eating at an Applebee's for the rest of my life.

I would have asked the group whether they were disturbed or not. I would have also said that I was the Designated Driver and hadn't been drinking, so I wouldn't be causing any problems.

If he still gave that ultimatum, then I would have done what you did while remaining confident, yet polite with a slight edge.

Were you being loud and obnoxious? Where was this "target" in all this and what happened the week prior? You didn't give much details. If you hadn't drank anything that night, I would have laughed at the guy. I would have also asked for his manager's number and the number to the head office as well. Trust me, managers DO NOT like getting calls from the home office about douche bag like this. Especially after he insinuated you were "drunk" with is serving comment.

It may have been other people around that complained about your "loudness". Many people come with families and they become walking bitching machines about any and anything.
