I'm a full time used gum salesman. I scrape the gum off of roads/benches/tables. Chew it to see if it is indeed used. Then Stick it under my armpit so I won't lose it. Then when I get home with ATLEAST 2 kilo's under each arm, I readd flavor to the gum, Repack it, and sell it to a supermarket near you.






















Actually I'm an entrepeneur and Study technical buisness. I'm learning my 5th and 6th language and I'll most likely be getting a degree in psychology this summer.

Your writing projects an image--I assume you take the time and effort to brush your teeth, put on deodorant, shave, and put on clean clothes--why not invest similarly in giving your writing proper capitalization, punctuation, and spelling?

I'm a stockbroker.

I used to post on here using capitol 'I' but when I was talking on msn, or in text, I would use lower case because it was faster and more relaxed feeling. Now I've switched to always using capitols because it portrays the strength of my confidence and shows that I feel I deserve respect from others (which I do).

The change in people's perception hasn't been profound of course, as it is a small thing and everything else about me already demonstrated those things, but I have noticed some slight changes.

Now my best friend who was TERRIBLE at spelling on msn said he just didn't care enough to take the time to make sure he spelled right. He was never a hugely scholastic person, so it didn't surprise me, although it always bothered me and made me take the things he said online less seriously than if he had said them to me in person.

Now he puts the effort in to capitolize and use punctuation. If he is unsure of how to spell a word, he uses the spell check in Word (maybe he checks every message he writes, I can't be sure, but I don't see him miss-spell anymore). This HAS had a profound effect on how I treat him and remember that this is my best friend, the guy that I have trusted my life to on many occasions and that I have nothing but love and faith in, yet now I have an even greater respect for him.

Words have power and how you present yourself in writing can be just as powerful as how you present yourself in person.
