there is a device you can get which measures this ratio in the face. but it's prob expensive

what i did was take a bunch of pictures of myself and physically measure them with a ruler. I whipped out the calculator and calculated the ratio of the numbers. then i figured out what the dimensions would have to be for me to fit that golden ratio.

so to answer your question. take pictures, get ruler, use calculator

Yeah I remember this ratio as well. I think I saw it in the movie "kinsey" with Liam Neilson. He referred to it as "God's number" apparently bee hive's and other animals fit this ratio.

Though I think you have the mouth to nose width ratio the other way around. The smile will always be bigger than the width of the nose, no?

well if you're ocd then you'd probably be tryin to get down to the last centimeter, but for the most part you could just use this stuff as guidelines. Not so much as what exactly to do but just make sure you aren't doing anything to throw this stuff completely off. I have a friend or two and I see people daily that have something about them that is just ridiculous and needs change. Symmetry is the #1 thing that matters in the modeling industry. The stuff really isn't fake. Kinda like if you want to look taller you can wear vertical stripes, not horizontal. If you're wide in the shoulders but kinda short, it makes you look even wider by wearing horizontal stripes. I'm 5'9" and vert stripes stretch me out an ince, lol. Good post, thanks.
