i was at Kalahari(indoor water park) right? yes.

and i was in line for this diving slide, having a good time talking with my sister.

and behind us, there's this REALLY really hot girl. like a perfect blonde, 10 out of 10, nice body features, cute face, beautiful eyes, and she was like our age. she had this voice that i think i fell in love with.

and 10 minutes later it's our turn.
My sister goes down first and then i go.

The ride is head first. and I dive into the 6 feet deep water, and it's really hard to see because water is falling on me. i try standing up, i SLIP and i finally stand up after 3 tries.

I wipe my face with my hands and look behi-BAM!!! i was completly knocked over. my leg starts bleeding a bit from scratches and i look to see, this 600 pound Fatass lady.
she's screaming like "ahh!!!" in a retarded sort of way and she's trying to roll off to the side.

First Story:
- Conveys a HUGE sense of humor
- Conveys I'm a family person
- Conveys girls want me to grind them
- Conveys I'm not attracted to girls just by their looks
- Conveys I have standards

Second Story:
- Builds Rapport (vulnerability) since I mentioned I love animals
- Conveys a sense of humor
- Conveys an interesting life, the triple backflip

I had one of the strange days I was just watch some TV and get phone call from one of my old friends who I have not chatted in years I tell you about him later.

Because he knows a lot of people sometimes he could get me at out trouble don’t ask my how he did it but he did. But one time I will never forget this day I my friend come to my house we was arguing because like a week told me not hit this boy because he had a lot back up and he was arguing ok cool. I was I school lunch time the same boy arguing with my sister again I kept my distance because it look my sister was wining argument and then hit my sister I lost it run over I just hit and hit I took 2 teachers to get me off him

Don't mention "Don't ask how he did it." it gives people ideas.

Think about it. If a girl is out somewhere, and see's a guy just start belting another guy, she is not going to think 'Wow, that guy is so tough'! She will think 'Oh, that poor guy who is getting beaten up'...

Grape, Im not sure you are getting the concept of DHV stories. It means 'Display Higher Value'.
I cannot see the slightest hint of you displaying any higher value in either of those stories, whatsoever.

Another tip: Girls don't think swearing is cool, tough, attractive, pleasant. Having a girl swear in the first sentance that she says to me is a pretty big turn off. It shows that someone isn't educated enough to express themselves without having to resort to foul language.

Dude, stories don't have to be great at ALL. As long as you tell it right and it has visual humor, with a punchline, you're good.

The words I have highlighted, are infact, swear words.

I agree, stories don't have to be great if they are told in an interesting matter, but just because they are delivered well, does not make them a DHV. I'm sorry, but vulnerability for animals is not a DHV. It is a basic human instinct (unless you are mental) to not inflict harm onto other living things. So, do you think if I was talking to a girl and said:

"I was driving down the road today, and there was a cat on the road. I swerved slightly not to hit it. Sweeto...."

"Was walking through the park today. A dog walked past me and sniffed my leg. But I didn't kick it!! Wow!!"

I'm sorry if I'm sounding like a knob, but I assumed by you posting this, you wanted to share it, including having it critiqued.

I'm not sure these demonstrate anything of a higher value, but are great conversation tools. True, when you really start to analyze the stories it becomes DHV, is the girl really going to analyze it though? I think the stories are amusing and came off as fun and chicks dig fun.

Their unconscious minds will analyze it...
Everyone needs to know more about DHV stories and about how there's a LOT more to it than the story.
