This routine has never failed me. For some girls, this has been a running inside joke that they still bring up months after meeting them. You can continue with, "So what kind of pokemon would you be, fire, electric,... etc." and you can coldread her by guessing for her. If you're already past the hookpoint, this is a great opportunity to do a takeaway or a backturn and get them to chase/pull you back into their set. It's important to always make them think you could leave any minute. Backturns are best done when the girl is experiencing high buying temperature (laughing her ass off).

This is good. I understand where you guys are coming from saying that it seems a bit childish. I think it will actually work BETTER if you're older. Why? Because this is a fun, playful little routine. It's clearly silly. The older you are, the sillier it becomes. The inclusion of her name will have to make her crack a smile because it's made personal. Obviously, don't do this if you have not established to her that you are a fun spontanious person. If you're confident enough, you can pretty much say and do anything you like.
