thsi is an awesome site for an animal cold readin technique, explains what sort of personality is represented by each animal the animals ideal partner and characteristics, what animals represent in dreams ect..
also a good spin on this is you can try and figure out the girls animal by lookin at her personality. after spneding abit of time with her and figuring some things out, without direct asking its alot more fun an will take them off their feet, i hope this is useful to you.

im thinin usin as a DHV, create a story around it. put urself in there explain how it works and what u are, in ur case a bear explain what this says about ur personality...she should be wantin u to do this on her but dnt give that up easily...
even create a story about ur friends who is witha girlfriend explain 2 animal types to put abit of weight behind this works, at the end you could say i see this in ur personality...blah
or
would you say ur creative and quick tempered, or creative and cautious?
from that question you could see if she was a reptile, or a rodent.

a fw more questions like that maybe what she studied find out abit about her personality u can find her group, herbivore carnivore reptile rodent and a few more her exact animal and in depth about that animals traits.

basically its just learnin what personality traits to look for an then remembering which animal goes with what...
im gna feild test this a little more when i learn the material abit better but should be simple enough..
try and fixate more on the positive when doin the readin.
