A simple way I like to gather intelligence on girls is simply to go to a coffee shop or some such location, do homework or whatever, and passively listen in on a conversation a couple of girls are having. Girls gossip, and listening to them gossip can give you information on how girls think as well as conversation material you can use. For example, I overheard two girls (8s or 9s) at Starbucks yesterday and they reinforced the idea that paying for a girl when you go out is AFC. They were talking about some guy they knew (a friend) who was apparently really nice and always paid for everything anytime he went out with any girl. One of them actually said she thought he was gay for awhile, and that such behavior made him look like he was trying to impress the girls he was with. Obviously this confirms that there is a key difference between impressing a girl and making it obvious that you're trying to impress a girl.

Anyways, I thought this might be useful to those of you who are have trouble understanding how females think, and that the techniques of the PUA have a legitimate grounding with regard to female psychology. Passively listening in on conversations is a simple and effective way to 'gather intelligence.'

as far as the whole paying thing goes i always have the girls pay for the drinks. i think this is the best idea ever!! you still look like a man but never a chump. and great for negging and joking (ur so sexist i cant believe you expect me to pay!!)

as far as listening on conversations......umm seems kinda wierd to me i'd rather just talk to the girls who i keep as friends only types

Not a bad idiea but I think it applies to a lot of other things aswell.

I do the same, listen and observe at school(not necceseraly on purpose, I do it passively), listen to girls chat about guys or other things when in the hallways I look at the natural alphas, n study their behaviours, there was this one kid, a really cool dude, easy to chill with,funny good looking, agressive at times.. A True natural alpha. I learned from him to b more aggressive towrds girls, not necesseraly verbaly or hardcore neggin, but aggressiv kino..

One of the best ways to gather intelligence is simply to read women's magazines...E.G. Cleo, Her World etc, etc...These articles post heaps and heaps about what women think about men's activities and behaviours and is pretty up-to-date as well.

1 thing I'm quite grateful for though is that none of the PUA material...from "The Game" to "Mystery Method" seems to have made it into its way into any of the female magazines. And that's a good thing cause it will be a disaster for us all if it does!

I think you learn more by directly interacting with girls.. Listen to what they are telling you (and what they mean but don't say)! This way of "listening in" may lead to incorrect assumptions about girls... and if you happen to have a tendency towards over-generalizing (i.e "all girls are the same" etc) it can cement those beliefs so hard in you that you'll have a hard time getting rid of them later... Nooo, active is the way to go! Passive listening is for betas, or just for fun A quick listen in just to find a good spontaneous opener can work wonders though.

You need to stop fearing the exposure of the PUA lifestyle. It's already been exposed (VH1's the PUA, The Game, etc.), and the only difference it makes is on canned material (lines). So learn to make your own material, and use your own style with the foundations of what you've learned. If a girl can tell that you're experienced at PU, then she should feel safe that you know what you're doing and you won't make any awkward situations for her. Everything should feel natural like "it just happened."

So stay away from canned material and it's all good.
