As a lot of others have already said, I'm not big on the tshirt over a dress shirt look... personally, i think it looks kinda dorky for some reason, BUT one of my bestfriends does it.

If you are going to go with that look, it would work much better with a more fitted tshirt. The sleeves on a tshirt should ideally fit just below where the triceps and biceps meet.

Eighty Eight Platinum make dress shirts that I think would work well on you. Especially if you put a leather jacket over the top.

In my country people would laugh at his outfit, we are more conservative towards dressing.

I'd suggest you work with various style coordinations. For instance, if you're rolling with a 2x layer shirt. You should have it be an accenting color, or a lighter shade of the two to link it as opposed to clash slightly. It looks like from your pic, that it doesn't do either (A white dress-shirt looking button-down with a polo collar. As a guy with a generally larger frame, vertical stripes are more flattering as they appear to elongate the body. (As well as darker colors, as they tend to help conceal shadows which cause depth perception and width assessment.) I'd also suggest instead of a polo-collar like shirt, some other shirt or vest that accentuates the neckline, as your wide shoulders make it look as though you're hunching over because it shortens the appearance of your neck. A v-neck shirt would also be a better appearance when trying to sport an accessory such as a necklace (Just common sense. Easier to see, better the response.) Wear a bit more form fitting clothes bro. Those shirts seem a bit too long and baggy, and make your torso look unnecessarily large, and seem to diminish your waistline, making you look slightly stumpy and cave-man like. Coupled with your shoulders which seem broad in proportion, it makes it look as though you hunch over unnecessarily, so double negative. Also, as a big person, layers generally are not flattering, simply because they make it look like you're trying to cover up fat or unsightly bulges, which makes you appear self-conscious. If you will do a double layer, roll with thinner fabrics that fit your form a bit closer.

Good points: The hat is spot on. Though I would suggest you match it with another part of your wardrobe in general, because it would look like you just threw it on as an attention getter. Most of the time a good way to subtlety coordinate your colors is: Head with shoes. Chest with belt. Pants a darker or lighter shade or color of the shirt/chest. Accessories share color/texture with either shoes/shirt/head.

So for instance, if you were wearing a black hat. Roll with black shoes. A silver ring with a silver watch. Watch face has a blue face, roll with a slightly light blue or darker blue torso color. Etc. You could also go with antagonistic colors or complimentary ones, but for simple coordination, classics rarely fail. Hope this helped.

I dont mean to offened, but by the look of the picture your body isnt a strong point. Wearing vertical stripes makes you taller, horizontal shorter. Lose the horizontal stripes it makes you look squat. Wear verticle stripes.

Otherwise the hat is good I love it.

Jeans, maybe a darker shade, i have the same problem as you. Big thighs so darker trousers always better! Plus that shade of jean is borring! And get nice belt to go with your outfit.

One piece of advice you can take or leave, its totally up to you. But I reckon a little more facial hair, at the moment you have a bit of a baby face (haha no offense) but some darker sideburns would better suit the hat. Just keep them well trimed.

I agree about the horizontal stripes. I really like the look I think it's comforting but when I pay attention to the stripes I see a lacking because it makes you wider. I think verticle stripes might fix that and I otherwise like the outfit.

If anyone had looked, the OP was made last year and I can't remember the last time I've even seen Holden.
