Hi all,

Thought I should properly introduce myself to you. Also to give you some idea of my current status in this PUA thing.

I am a 26 yr. old shy dutch guy who is still way back at the beginning of AFC in the PUA learning curve. In fact the following stereotypical things apply to me:

- Im a virgin. Yes i am one of this special group called old virgins. Even never kissed before, besides kissing people on the cheek that is. I am not as obsessed about losing my virginity as some people though. Know many guys who are in the same situation, some who are fun, cocky and social. Besides at least i can honestly claim no woman ever has complained about my skills in bed or has ever faked anything.

- I still live at my parents. Am looking for a house to buy though. Want to make a good choice and unfortunately prices are high. But I have my own home in the following year. Kinda looking forward to decorating it according to my own style.

- Work in the IT business. Kinda saw that coming didn't you . Guess everyone will say this, but no i am not a nerd.

- Do not have female friends. Fortunately that means i don't have to listen about problems with relationship of some woman you love.

It is not all bad though. I do have decent social skills, sense of humour (at least people often seem to laugh about my jokes) and have the motivation to improve myself. Friends and family around me have noticed the last couple of years that my social skills were improving.

Until now i have read something of Ross Jeffries, years back, I don't really like SS. Saw Dvd's of David DeAngelo which kinda made things like not being a nice guy but using stuff like cocky humor obvious. And recently read Venusian Arts (or something like that) of Mystery which really provides me with a strategy to begin with.

Though i have more to say and more important to ask advice about ill keep it at this for now. As i know how boring it can be to read long posts.

Good to meet you, none of those things really matter, learn some of mysteries stuff, like openers and dhv routines, and then just go to a club and meet new people, you will find its a lot easier than you thought. A good move would be to move out of your parents house, but i know thats easier said than done.

Good luck, and you may or may not ge AA, but just try to push through it (when i do i get the most amazing adrenaline buzz)

Check my intro, so u get an idea of who I am, am younger than u but lol am basicaly destined in the same direction as you lol, I see myself working in some kind of computer or tech job, am not a nerd either u can socialize with me anytime,but I still like programmin n technology, so idk mb we have somethings in common

Xenu, welcome man. It's refreshing to hear someone completely honest with themselves and the world. Good job! Best advice I can give you is to not worry too much about who you lose your virginity to, have her be decent, but realize you have a lot of catching up to do so you might as well get started now.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Don't worry im quite cool about my virginity and stuff like that. I am more concerned with becoming good at approaching woman and getting them interested in me. And hopefully while doing that finding a nice fun mature woman to get into a relationship with.

Right now I have approached woman a few times and did a bit of field testing some of the theories of PUA gurus. But that was on an irregular basis. Do have some AA depending on my mood and the situation. But my problem right now is that once I have approached a group my coinfidence kinda drops and I feel like acting a bit timid. So my focus right now is simply to act coinfident and get the group interested in the conversation. Its the basis but you gotta start somewhere right?

Hopefully this PUA is not just a commercial hype and actually works. The theories, like those of Mystery, do seem to make sense though.
