With the Pickup Artist show on VH1 and everything, people are going to start recognizing the structure of the pickup. I've got girls at my school who are talking about this laughing about how pathetic someone would have to be to try this stuff and how it wouldn't work on them.

I'm not so worried about them recognizing lines and all that. I mean I'll find a way to come up with my own lines, but I'm still afraid that they'll recognize the structure. Like if I open them up with an opinion and then bodyrock and give a false time constraint and then throw in a neg, they might get the picture and rip me apart with it. Something like that would be so embarassing! Does anybody else feel the same way? I just feel like this stuff should have stayed underground. It was built BY the underground dog FOR the underground dog. Now I just feel like Mystery is using this to get to celebrity status. I mean good for him, but what about the people who PAID for his material to work for them only to find out that he's teaching this stuff to the whole world for free on television? Doesn't seem fair.

Search the forum for VH1 and you'll find a ton of threads on this already, with tons of lengthy explainations about why this shouldn't be an issue and you shouldn't be worried about it, but instead how it is a good thing for the society.

In life there are 3 things a species can do:

1. Die
2. Nothing
3. Evolve

I don't think anyone is planning on letting PUA die, so option one is out for anyone dedicated. Option two will end in stagnation and eventual death when it has been spread around enough and everyone knows the lines and such; similar to how cheetahs are dying out, because they all have the same dna and are all related, no variety means that a plague will kill them all, just like exposure of the community will eventually lead to demise. Option three is the preference for any living creature, because you become stronger, better and adapt to survive in your new surroundings.

Option three is the progression away from canned lines and structures, with the development of natural game. That is a large reason why The Saint and myself have decided to create a company together and then you'll never have to worry about whether they know you are a pickup artist or not, cause a lot of women know I'm one, but it doesn't phase them, because they love what I'm about. It's a lifestyle, it's about personality and not a fake one, which is what those lines are. Charisma Concept will have our website up soon and then you'll learn all about it!

Why are you ashamed of it?

You don't have to follow any structure, thats just a guideline. Guys got girls before any structure existed. Figure it out, its the natural way. That is I suppose if you are afraid to get "caught out".

honestly i don't think we have anything to worry about. I just watched the entire season of it yesterday and today and mystery doesn't reveal that much of it. PU goes so much deeper than what he says on the show, he just brushes the edges. Besides, the girls won't even realize what phase you are in she will just be going along with the interaction. All the stuff on the first season was all that canned shit, we gotta make up our own stuff that does the same thing. It's not that hard, just use your head and it'll come to you.
