I was just wondering as to whether or not there is anyone here that really and truly understands how to use negs effectively and as to whether they can help me to understand the concept of negs better as I am finding that this is a major stumbling block for me and I am hoping that I will be able to overcome it quickly.

Negs are simple.

Think of it like this. Your goal is to create a gap between your percieved value to the target (the level of "cool-ness" the target thinks you have) and the Target's self percieved value (what the target thinks of herself. To do this effeciently, you must not only raise your value but lower hers slightly. If you over-neg you seem like a jerk so be careful but basically, the bigger the gap, the more she will want you at first.

How do you do that without comming across as a complete asshole?

Maybe I keep doing something wrong, but everytime that I try do that I either come off as a complete asshole or I end up in the friend zone.

I've also noticed that when I try to be nice in any way they end up turning around and using that against me by either trying to play me or in just flat out lying to me just to get me to try to help them out with some problem that they are having and that is really starting to get annoying.

I hope that maybe you might have some suggestions as to how I can deal with that better as I know that both Ross and Mystery have indicated that you should be an asshole at first just to snap them out of autopilot and to bring them back to dow to earth.

I've also run across some that seem to think that I am the fucking bank and that is just total bullshit. I don't know, but for some reason I just seem to keep running into the crazies and that flakes no matter how hard I try.
