Ok, so you open and introduce a false time constraint. Things are going well and you start trying to build some attraction. This is probably more likely to happen in a two set where you shift your attention to your target and the other feels snubbed. As a retaliation she says something along the lines off, "didn't you have somewhere else to go"? What do you do/say?

I guess it could also happen in a 1 on 1 situation where the girl is testing you because she suspects you're hitting on her or whatever.

Would you say something like, "You're right, this conversation was so interesting that I lost track of time!". Is this any good? Or does that sound AFCish?

Hmm this is a shit test i havn't got a prepared answer for. I'll take note.
But here's a couple of idea's:
Just say 'yeah' and carry on talking about what you was before or change thread.

Or 'oh charming, is she always like this?'

'yeah they aint going nowhere, they would'nt leave without me'

Its a tricky one because you may be very close to a crash and burn.

You could say, "Are you trying to get rid of me?" in a C&F way, then start to walk off jokingly, then turn back and carry on.

i agree that it would be the friend who would be asking you this, but really, you havn't done your job properly if they do ask you this in anything but a totally joking manner.

Personally, if its your target, especially in a 1on1 setting...id say its a test and i personally liked Mozy's response, 'yeah they aint going nowhere, they would'nt leave without me ...kinda displays leader, as in they wait for you to decide what to do and when...

However no one touched on the fact that if this is brought up by someone who isnt a target, or say maybe your target does and you can read this from her.....it could be a huge IOD. If they are thinking about why you havent left, they probably dont want you around. Analyze the set later and try and identify why this would be.

The idea is your FTC is meant to make them not think about when your gonna leave, which is reinforced by you being intresting....maybe your not being intresting enough or you just have a rotten set and your better off without them.

Also dont be afraid to drop the ftc multiple times....support it with the body language, be congruent...body rock, show disintrest by looking around. Dont walk up, open, lock in then ftc...if you lock in they know your staying.

this happened to me once!
I paused, looked at the other girl and said "oh yea... thanks for reminding me" then looked at my target and said "dang, unsocial isnt she... well yea I gotta go but we gotta talk again" - i underlined those last few words because its part of my NLP; telling her she has to talk to me again. and lo-n-behold she says "yea!" and pulls out here phone to exchange numbers.

I agree, but there is no such thing as a rotten set. If the set goes wrong, it is something that you hadnt done optimally.

this happened to me once the once removed obstacle asked me "did't you say you only had a minute?" and i replied by looking at my watch and saying "oh men i am so going to be late to that party!' and i followed up by saying my girl-friends are going to wonder where i been all this time! .(DHV)
i asked what steps should we take to keep this interaction going and i got the two numbers.

i like the first part but the second part about asking what steps to take... do you care what steps they should take?

I was thinking more along the lines of making them give you their phone number.. not sure what routine to use but if someone knows... let me know.

"they'll wait for me" is the best answer. A good DHV.

" They won't go anywhere without me" , is slightly better phrased. As if they will not only wait, but almost NEED you. More DHV
