when i get complemented i feel like i get stumped, like

girl: ur so hot/cute/etc!!!!!

me: pause pause pause pause... thanks..very lil smirk

then i get stared at and she expects a compliment back but i change the subject

happens quite a bit. especially when running routines. should i just continue just saying what im doing? or anyone have better ideas for responding to a compliment. would going "yeh i get that a lot" and turning it into a joke or just ignoring the whole compliment in general better?

maybe im just over thinking lols.

this also makes me feel and understand wut girls think about when they get complemented. they get it so often. it would also come into mind as ..thanks...cool....

Could always turn it into a neg like
"Wow is she always this forward!?" or
"Thanks, so are you! Shame your not my type or you'd be in so much trouble!"

Or turn it into a routine!
"Thanks!...... Your a very beautiful girl aswell! But ya know, i look around and beauty is common - its so refreshing to find something more! Tell ya what, can you name 3 things that would make me wanna really get to know you over anyone else in this bar/club/ect tonight!
