im about month and half old. meaning i started reading "the game" on 2-12 and finished a couple days later. it really opened my mind to what can happen. i really took to ross jefferies. probably cause i enjoyed the control he demonstrated. i bout a few of rosses dvds, a few trance cds. i just spent about $50 the first few times, just to see if i liked it. i luv it, i listen to the cds when going to bed. i also took to rasputin, the hypnotist www.hypnotica.org. i got sphinx and charisma cds. wow!! that is heavy stuff. i could feel a difference the first night i used ross's cds but the hypnotica stuff is an atomic bomb. im still trying new pua sites and seeing who i like. my old problem was just not having the guts to approach. once i start talking i was fine. the cds really apted my desire to approach.

yes it will be very good to read the book you are talking about I have bought it and the second one called the rules of the game but have only read the first 25 pages of the game and it's very eye opening I'm also just starting out like you so I hope we both gain more knowledge in this field anyway which country are you from?

I am also new to this whjole think I have got the game and read 265 pages and learned so much I wanna finish it quick. anyway welcome

Make sure to read the basics, and then GET OUT THERE AND PRACTICE.

There is NO SUBSTITUTE for practicing. Start going out 3 or 4 nights a week and you will absolutely see a difference sooner rather than later!

im another newbie, ive watched the vh1 series and ive been roaming the forum for a bit, im having trouble with DHV's though.

the pick up artist (tv show) is a good start, you can find all the episodes on vh1's website. the game is an interesting read, but i suggest also Rules to the Game by Style too

im very new at this as well and a cheep git (love the dont buy them drinks advice lol) so havent bought anything yet just signing up to all the Email news letters. recomend david d and the scott makay podcasts plus pick up 101 has a lot of free stuff. but have just got an Email offering DYD and art of aproaching for $17 so might bite the bullet and open my wallet. got till midnight to decide before offer closes should i do it?

Welcome, I suppose the best thing to do to get started is practice, starting with openers and a few negs and work you way through all the information that is here.

let me first off say I NEVER NEVER would just go up and talk to a woman!!

there is this market where this attractive girl works and after reading half the book I was feeling really outgoing, as if I could talk to anyone. I walked in and smiled at her "she is a casher" I then grabbed my usual juice drink witch is grape or orange. This time I was determined to talk to her so I put the grape juice back and grabbed the oddest juice drink there. to be honest I forgot the name but it was long and weird sounding. I went up to her and said hey, how are you? she said I'm fine. I then said "hey have you ever tried this stuff before I never herd of it?' she said no I never tried it but it looks yummy. I then smiled and said well I'll find out and I'll let you know and she giggled. The whole time I kept strong eye contact with her.

I think this is a big step for me and all thanks to the book GET IT!!
