The community is an open book. You can explore and dabble around with ALL that stuff if you'd like, but ultimately you are going to want to settle in with skill sets that you feel are most congruent with who you are.
For example, I'm not a magician like Mystery is. With my personality type, I don't really enjoy showing people a bunch of illusions as much as the next guy. Mystery uses a bunch of magic in his sets, and it totally works for him, but I'm not Mystery.
I'm a musician, so I really like expressing myself. I like telling DHV stories with emotionally charged themes and expressions. I like some dancefloor game because it's also very expressive. I'm also very passionate about psychology and I am very curious about the human mind, so I learned and use a lot of personality-reading routines like the cube.
The PUA community takes all kinds. There's something for everyone here
In the end, it's all about "being yourself" in a such a way that you are "being your best self."
