i got the number of a 8 a week ago, I took her out to Santa Monica beach for lunch today, i didnt pay for lunch like the posts said. Got her laughing most of the time, she seemed comfortable, but everytime i tried kino she kinda pulled away. I can see this is going into the LJBF zone...

Pushing hard will get you no where. You need to get her used to you touching her before you can overtly do it. Hi Five's are great (seriouslyl, I scoffed, but fuck do they work), a hug with a big ass smile showing that it is about fun and not getting a grope, playful punches, then you've got her doing the same and now you can touch her hand without her pulling back, then you can put your hand on her hip. A great one is the fingernail up the spine (back on the nail, not trying to dig in).

You also need to show that it isn't just her, because she will subconsciously notice it, even if not consciously. Touch your friends, cause if you aren't comfortable touching them, how can you be comfortable touching her.

thanks for the reply, i guess it kinda makes more sense now.
so should i ask her out again and follow those steps, but if i fuck up. she's in my maths class... haha. so.... i guess it'll turn all awkward than wouldnt it?
