On Monday, October 30th, I go to Target in the morning and buy groceries, when I go into the shuttle bus to go back to uni, I sit behind the driver and a cute woman walks and sits across from me. I looked at her time to time and noticed that she had a cute face and a nice body; I was thinking whether or not I should approach her on the bus by standing up and sitting next to her, I didn’t think it was a good idea. Once we reach our destination I let her get out first; as soon as we leave the bus stop I approach her from the side and go, "Excuse me, I know this is straightforward, but I think you're cute and I wanted to meet you." as soon as I said cute, she looked away from me and giggled.

We introduce ourselves and says that she is going to a lab and I ask if it is okay if I walk with her. We walk at a reasonable pace. We talk about our lives, make each other laugh a few times, and maintain good eye contact; No physical escalation except for handshake in the beginning and no flirting/sexual innuendoes either (I keep forgetting to do these things). As we are about to part ways I ask for her number so we can go out sometime, she agrees, I put my number in her phone (she texts me, "Hey this is Sally!" about a minute after i leave and i text her back with, "Hey, its Javi" ). Right before I leave, I ask her when she is free. She says that she has a new job and is busy this week but that we can work something out. (the entire conversation/walk was 5 or so minutes).


On the following Sunday I text her to set up the date: “Hey Sally, billiards and drinks on Wednesday, 9pm” I sent the message at 1:25 pm and it has been over 6 hours since. I know people have their own lives to live, but I never thought it would take this long to respond. I’m still finding other women to improve my game and I plan on NOT double posting her, but if she never responds, should I drop her another text a few days/week later or even talk to her if I see her in person?

Don't worry about it and approach/date other women. She will then become insignificant and if she hits you up days/weeks/months later, then you could be worrying about fitting her in to your busy schedule.

What ever you do, do not send her a follow up text. She may have met someone else more appealing.

Yes re-text her. But don't ask the next girls if it's ok if you add her in your phone or whatever. This is not directed at you OP but at future people who may read this thread; the "I thought you were cute" approach takes zero creativity and is done by every guy from Bumfuck Shithole and his 18 year old snot nosed brother by this point. Be creative for higher end-results. The women KNOW why you're approaching them, you don't need to verbalize you thought they were cute, they know as long as you're not approaching them as a BFF - and there's the rub - most guys who open in this way called "direct" by some but which is anything but "direct" approach as a BFF. Approach as a socially calibrated potential lover for end results.

This happens to guys a lot and they get confused, but what they don't realize is that women are NOT nearly as invested into the interaction as you are. You had to build up confidence, think really hard about your approach, and over come your fears, walk with her, and in the midst of it all you managed to succeed in what you wanted " To get her number". As a result you became emotionally tied to the situation and so you're naturally expecting a return on all you just put in.

The thing is, she didn't have to do anything other than get approached. She's not invested. You did ALL the work. She didn't do anything but invite you to do more work (walk with her). So as a result she's not emotionally invested. So its nothing for her to forget about you an move on.

You get a woman emotionally invested by pushing their compliance levels. Womens emotions are directly tied to how much they comply with for a guy. She rationalizes compliance to herself by saying things like " I must love him, because if I didn't love him I wouldn't of done this... I wouldn't of done that..". Now the more she is compliant with a certain thing, the less emotions she ties to it, but the element is still there. This is why a virgin is more likely to get emotional after sex as opposed to a girl whos had sex with a hundred guys. That virgin has never been pushed to that level of compliance.

This is one of the secrets to getting a woman to fall in love. Push her levels of compliance beyond what anyone else has. It could be small or big. But it has to be new. And it has to be done consistently. Had you asked her something like " Can you hold my books while I tie my shoes" you would be requiring emotional investment from her through requesting her compliance. And thus, she would be less likely to flake or forget you, because she had to put in work, Just like you did.

This is all apart of the game though. You get numbers, so are winners, others are duds. Just keep approaching. It'll get easier and easier.

Thank you all for the responses. I’ll make sure that I have these mindsets in mind when I meet other women.

Her: Fair; I haven’t actually been to TopGolf yet, sounds fun! Should be able to make it out but will confirm later today
