Sitting outside coffee shop drinking tea and catching up on my shows on my phone, 2 girls sitting near hanging out. I glance at them without staring, eventually go to bathroom, then to my car nearby to smoke. Girl who was giving IOI body language earlier comes to her car which happens to be next to my car. I ask a question about what she's wearing, she answers with "wow, I'm meeting a hot guy" enthusiasm, names are traded with a handshake(should I have gone for a hug, possibly even a kiss instead based on her energy level and openness?), conversations goes

Me: Do you come here alot?(Maybe I should remove this sentence from my vocabulary? It takes the conversation out of the moment and might plant images of a creepy stalker guy in her head?)

Her: No, you?

Blah blah bullshit talk I didn't lead towards anything, not getting in my car, not hanging out later tonight, not even hanging out in the future. She goes back to her friend, they move the laptop 2 tables away and she sits with her back to me where before she was pointed at me with her legs in the chair, out of the chair, crossed, etc. So in the future should my goal be;

-Get to table with friend and hang out with the 2 of them(I really was there to watch my show and sip tea, and these were cute not smoking hot girls so not that bothered about interaction being lame)

-Get her to come inside for mini-bounce

-Get number, go back to show, hang out later that night

-Get number, leave and watch show at different coffee shop, hang out later that night

-Get them to a second location with slightly more energy(sports bar not nightclub)

A number alone in cold approach is kinda pointless. Her being attracted to you after a brief conversation generally isn't enough to get her to even respond to you. It's more important that you manage to form a connection so that she remembers you, if possible an instadate is the ideal option.

If you don't manage to get an instadate, it's best to message her as soon as possible to capitalise on the connection. None of this three day rule nonsense. Women generally have a lot of men telling them they're attractive, so you need to separate yourself from the crowd.

So I should lead the conversation towards the fact that we both appear to be leaving(even though we weren't) and steer her to a nearby place(one specifically I've been buttering up with big tips and chat, so can be my go to spot)? Try to get her to ditch the friend? She did for the 90 seconds we talked, and I guess if they were both interested they both would have come to the cars. That was one of my hangups(oh she's with a friend, has a laptop with her, blah blah blah).

Good job on opening her. All that has to happen is for that initial spark she had when you opened her to be continued throughout. This can happen in a few short mins. It's important to build a lil connection with her so she wants to see you again and continue those good feelings. But remember,

One of the easiest ways you can pick up a girl at a coffee shop is to download connect 4 on your phone, sit near her or across from her, open the connect 4 app on your phone, make the first move, and slide then device gently to her. Half way through the game you say " Loser takes the winners number and calls them tonight at 8:30". Win and tell her you'll take her number as well so you know who's calling.

With confidence, this has been a 80% success rate for me.
