Hey Everyone!
Ok, so after reading through Roads amazingly informative thread titled "AFC Challenge to the Masters: Social Anxiety", I noticed somewhere in there he talks about the awkwardness of silence and the difficulites in breaking the silence in sets.
Deep down I know I have this problem, in the past, when there is a silence I have always tried to force 1000 ideas on what to talk about through my head at once...which never seems to work.
The one and only silence breaker I use when the conversation takes a dive is "how about we go see who's got better moves on the dancefloor?", and since I'm a nightclubbing sort of guy it tends to work well.
But since I've started learning about PU and beginning my journey to PUA it didn't take me long to realise bars/lounges are better suited to me.
So basically, I would like to talk about silence breakers you guys use and have used? Sorry if there is already a thread dedicated to this.
To start things off;
The silence breaker I'm going to try the next time I feel a conversation going cold is just simply stare into the girl/woman's eyes with a hint of a smile and not break eye contact until she either laughs and says something like "haha, what is it?" or if she's really playful "haha, you must be a champ at staring contests!"
Either way, if she responds to my suggestive staring I will easily have things to say.
Silence is a killer though.
