Try to wear something you're comfortable with(be yourself)but try to be a bit original, but in a good way,so you stand out.
Maybe ask some tips of girls you know cuz they can help you better than we do.

Ok this is sort of an accident, one time I had really fucked up my own hair by doing it myself with a trimmer as I was walking out the door, ...late for work, any way to make short, I anded up taking a snug fitting thinly woolly beanie hatto the club to cover the cockup, anyway I was dancing and sweating like I was in club fifth ring of hell. Anyway, amazing how many women seemed perfectly comfortable walking up to guy compleatly soaked in sweat and you could literary ring it out and ...well you get the point..... I would suggest some other clothes. For clubs around here (Amsterdam) it is not usual for peopel to wear hats s that alays gets attention, this does not apply for hipp hop and RnB parties where everybody has the cap and hoodies.

I'd say the truth is somewhere in between the extremities of trying to be the Talented Mr. Ripley and "dressing as yourself". I mean . . . what exactly does "yourself" mean anyhow?

The dress as yourself routine might work if you live in the same place all your life and you frequent the same clubs/bars night after night but if you travel a bit . . . and you want to increase your odds, there's nothing wrong with adopting just a little. There's really nothing written in stone but the bottom line is you want to shine . . . without looking like a total alien.
Hell to the no. If you want to stand out, wear something that will stand out; hats are always a safe bet since not many people wear them these days, but don't go out and camoflage yourself in their social colours, that is the opposite of peacocking and will not get you noticed. If you really want to stand out, dress in the direct opposite way they do but still be charming and have a good attitude towards it. Conforming to them just to get with them will not shine, all it will do is make you seem try hard and they will spot that the moment they see you.

The bottom line: Dress whatever way suits you and you are comfortable with, elseways don't dress any way at all, go sarging dressed like a clown for christ's sake but don't change your avatar just to fit in: That's an AFC move.

Just wear what you want, holy shit. Why does it matter?
what he said ^

Dressing up, magic tricks, it's all a performance.

If you have good inner game, you are being yourself picking up women. Therefore it's not a performance - you're the real deal and not wearing a mask, and there's no need to dress like your having a mid life crisis at 25.
