So today I went doing some direct day approaches. Just the ordinary: "Hey, I saw you from over there, you're really cute bla bla"
My approaches have always been like this. When I started day gaming, I was getting some nice results: few number closes here and there, some of them failed. But at least all of the girls listened and were "moved" by my little compliment (cute).
Over the time I got more confident in delivering these direct lines and I was feeling less nervous.
The big problem:
Today, all of my direct approaches (8 in a row) failed BIG time. I couldn't believe it! My opener was just the same. I could get their attention for the first few seconds, but right when I said they were "cute", they turned their back on me and walked away like total bitches. They even rejected my hand when I was about to introduce myself after telling them they looked cute. I think they perceived me as the cheesy pickup guy.
Any idea what's going on here? I only know that my attitude today was different. Like I said: I felt real confident and relaxed and couldn't really care for the girl's reaction, since I'm getting real comfortable now doing these direct approaches.
It seems that having a somewhat nervous/excited attitude is what the girls like. But that's just weird. I thought being fully confident is what makes these direct approaches good. So do I have to act dramatic and nervous again??? I don't want that pussy AFC'ish attitude
Also, I'm pretty buffed and tall. So maybe the combination of being the big guy with a "I don't care how this approach turns out" attitude is a little too much for direct day approaches? Pfff... I really need help on this one. 8 failures in a row
Thanks,
