Okay, I got this waitresses number at a grill party and basically found out that she's the same age as me... sounds good, right?
I texted her phone two days later and she responded immediately and i felt well received. We've been texting all day and it seems nice, like we've both been friendly, but not overly friendly. I got her facebook page and now have it (not too photogenic, but she's much better in person

) and I'm not sure where to go right now... I'm the one who sent the last message, but that was yesterday... Do I continue today, risking looking desperate because of the double messages, or do I continue on facebook? I'm at a stand-still... any advice?
First off congratulations on the # close! It sounds like you havee been able to build rapport through text messaging judging the fact she gave you access to another facet of her life "facebook."
It sounds like since you spend "all day" texting each other being friendly you have already broken the "non-needy" frame rule. Her not responding has you like the cat on the end of the string hoping it moves again, when she messages you back. I think the best thing you can do at this point is wait, and when you start messaging again, don't do it as often. Give delays between the messages. Keep control of the string, in Mystery's Cat String Theory Metaphor.
GOOD LUCK!!!
