So it's been at least 3 months since I've number closed online or been on date. I scrapped it all and started from the ground up this past week on ok cupid and POF... new profiles, same old results.

Getting profile views hasn't been the problem... in 3 or 4 days, over 50 on ok cupid with my new account, and I've "only" sent about 30 openers. Only about 5 responses, and then nothing further. What could I be doing wrong? This is where I was stuck on my old profile too... I can't seem to figure it out.

Here's a current example from a girl I Opened earlier tonight on POF. Anyone have a good response so I can break this slump and keep it going?

Yeah, this is why I tried to start from scratch. I used some stuff from Cajun's guide in my POF profile and then kept my OK Cupid a little less bold to see what works better for me. Or at least that was the intent. I personally think my pictures suck.

Ok dude I checked out your profile and ya its pretty bad.

The worst things are the pictures, you have four pictures, three of which look like you have the same totally phoney supplicating smile that doesn't reach your eyes and you look like a loner. Add this to the fact you draw attention to yourself being an I.T. geek and say goodbye to most decent pussy.

So first and easiest fix your photos. Make one photo of you being social with real people in it, post one photo of you doing something athletic, post one crazy party costume photo, and make one photo with you with 1+ hot chicks in it. All four of those lame pictures you have posted have to go immediately. why would any girl look at those pictures and think "Wow it would be soooo fun to hang out with this guy by his computer desk or outside his corporate office patio!!!"

Now your profile is decent but uninspiring, get rid of all mention of being an I.T geek - girls hate that shit. Try to make it funny and inspiring, you have some suitable set pieces in there but overall its totally forgettable. If you cant think of anything better just copy some bullshit off some other guys profile in a different city who clearly has some game.

If you want a woman's POV it's ok but NOT genuine. You've already admitted using some other guy's lines which women can see right through. Don't you realize every other guy is reading the same (bad) PUA advice you are and using it on women? The key to getting women's attention online is STANDING OUT - not sounding like every other spammer who just sends the same canned message to 100 women at a time.

My advice - forget the lines. Forget anything that you read that some other guy used to supposedly get women. Like it or not the only thing that works is being yourself, and being confident in who you are - including all the weird and crazy shit you're into. It's not about sending a generic aura of cocky/funny. It's about being a REAL person who gives REAL details about his REAL life. If your life isn't interesting enough to attract women, don't use some other guy's lines. GET A BETTER LIFE YOU CAN BE HONEST ABOUT.

First message to ANY girl should be personal or chances are, she's going to click "next" and move on. You have to show her that you've actually read her profile, and not just looked at her pic, decided she was hot, and spammed her. Mention something personal in the message. For example, if she likes Beyonce say, "Have you ever seen Beyonce live in concert?" It shows you read her profile, engages her about something you know she's into, and starts a conversation by asking a question. It would be hard to resist answering.
