Also, as its a simulator you will have no tone, body language or other social cues that essentially make up a vast majority of human communication.
By all means, if you COULD do a really good simulation it would be brilliant. But if your aim is to create a program to learn from or "practise" social skills with then I would question how effective your program could ever be.
His program is probably to practice programming with slight ai logic.
