Ok everybody, let's get started.

One of the greatest problems of the PUA journey is improving your self image, and while this may not include excercise, it will surely help you live out a healthy life, and it might give you a boost of confidence.

So i decided to set out to find a workout routine. and the best one i found, free and no strings attached, is a 12 week work out routine at www.mensworkoutguide.com . Not only is it free, but the guy who is teaching it used to have the same body as us, (which for most of us is average or poor. while i don't risk health problems, i have a lot of access fat, and i am slightly weak Note: i am 5'6 and 140 lbs.)

Also, it has a week-by-week workout routine along with videos, and some other tips.

I have taken a picture so i can get a week-by-week before and after photo shoot. the picture right now is a little bit embarrissing, so i will save it for later, when i will show the 12 week difference, which hopefully will be immense.

so why am i posting up this information?

because i know i am not the only person in this world with slight health problems, and i want others, besides me, to record their 'journey' and help push each other along. if someone feels like quiting, we will work together, and help each other through.

so who is up to the challenge?

Brother.. I started a new work out just a month ago.. But im already in decent shape but always room for improvement. Honestly work on cardio first.. I was a smoker for 2 yrs and weed smoker for over 4.. Get your body ready for tough work outs after you get your self ready.. Cardio burns the most fat anyways.. Go for jogs, buy yourself a sauna suit from wally world for ten bucks and sweat it out faster. BTW when i had braces, a yr before they were finished my dad kicked me out, lost my girl friend of 2 yrs and my mother died 3 yrs before this all happened and much more.. I've been through some crazy mental shit and my teeth got worse from braces sitting and extensive smoking as well as I lost my physic.. I need work all around and I'm in the same boat as you! So as young Jezzy said... LETS GET IT!

i wish i could do all of that jogging and get a sauna suit, and get a fitness club membership.

but i am just a high school student, so i don't have the time or the money. all i have is two 15 lb weights and two 8 lb weights... nothing else.

i don't plan on ever smoking though, but it must be hard to quit.

good luck.

Actually I've been smokin stoges for about 4 years and i just recently quit smokin herb. But when i was a high school student i didn't know what else to do. so here is how i got in shape and it worked and the ladies loved it.

-Jog for good 25mins EVERYDAY (trust me you want to sweat
-3 sets of Pushups but not just normal ones ever other day
20-diamonds pushups this works on the arms and makes them tone
20-Wide-set pushups
20 regular pushups
20 explosive pushups to end with
-3 sets of situps every other day
start with just 50 regular ones and increase reps as they become easier
25 on your rightside
25 on your left side
-3 sets of flutter kick and leg lifts about 50 reps per excersise

this got me in a good startin shape plus i atea good diet till i invested in home workout machine
when i get back from bootcamp i'll post what they do there to get in shape

Lol.
I'm actually pretty knowledgeable on this subject.

I weighed in at around 200-210 lbs freshman year in high school.
It was even worse since I was 2 years younger then everyone in my grade.
I had no confidence and I always took it seriously when someone made fat jokes about me.

I don't exactly remember when I decided to change but I did. Around the middle of summer started running EVERY DAY and learned to clean up my diet. By sophomore year, people could tell a little change. I decided a little wasn't good enough. So summer year of sophmore, I ran literally every day, at the expense of my knees (now suffer from tendonitis every once in a while). This year, EVERYONE could tell I lost weight. It kept me going and I lifted at school in personal education.

Note:I have been in personal fitness for 3 years straight, but did not take full advantage of it till junior year.

After losing all that weight, I have soooo much confidence. I'm known at school by most people, everyone tells me I've lost weight and that I'm getting bigger, the gains from it are endless.

Frankly, I firmly believe that 80-90% of the people that are out of shape on this site really need 3 things:
-A consistent workout
-A solid diet
-Sleep

I believe that you don't need supplements and 95% of the people that use it, in regards to kids in high school and probably college, don't know how to properly use it, and would greatly benefit from just a good diet.
