I just came up with an opener, probably influenced by others and would like some opinions.
Me: hi - with smile
Her: hi
Me: What sport do you practice? - smile, clear eye contact, in a reasonably loud voice to overcome the noises in her head especially those of surprise and anxiety from being asked a question from a stranger.
Her: -sport name/i don't do sports/why do you ask
Me: Your walk is very balanced (not sure about the translation here) - said in a calm, slightly slow pace.
Her: thank you/ smile/ call the cops
Me: and this gives you a tone of elegance.
Her: thank you/ smile/ identifying you to the cops
Me: introduce myself, hand shake
That's it for the opener. Depending on what she responded, if she does a classical sport (tennis, etc) i'd say "that's interesting, since what age" and go on talking about childhood or something. If it's a non traditional sport (gym, yoga, running from weirdos) i say something about relaxation and comfort etc.
EDIT: After the elegant walk compliment, i forgot to add that i could turn facing her, tell her to face me, and touch her shoulders and go down on her hands towords her hips and say "you have straight and relaxed shoulders that are aligned with your waist and hips".
Opening, observation, implied compliment with relatively unique compliment, kino. Very proud of this i am
