| so i met this girl in the laundry room. i opened with a situational opener, asking her what her shirt said, since it had stuff written on it (not a compliment so much as a comment). i was idly running game, i wasn't actually trying to pick her up, but we got into an amazing conversation. i ran C&F, busted on her, some kino, talked about stuff, and held a great conversation. (wouldn't it be great if i remembered it and could insert a transcript here?:?)
when the laundry was done, i ended up getting her number. i called her 2 days after getting her number, and we had a great conversation, ending my interaction with a real time constraint (an FTC may have been effective, but unnecessary when i had an actual legit thing i had to go to) and inviting her to lunch. she seemed enthusiastic about it.
i waited a day and then called her. we talked, and she said she was going to have to cancel, and didn't give a reason. i interpreted this as disinterest and didn't ask. we talked, but it felt a little disjointed after that, but it wasn't awkward, just not up to the standards of the previous conversations we had, and then she said she had to go.
what went wrong?? did i push the envelope too fast? did i leave too much time between calls? is there any reason you can think of that this screwed up? maybe it's the inevitable cost of picking up a girl and trying to ask her out.
also, do i give up and write it off now? or should i pull back and call her, but be more laid back and heat things back up, to solidify things more?
from some things i've read in pickup, i feel like i give up too fast. what would you recommend i do? _________________ >>> ascend to the next level
