I usually dont write FRs or LRs unless its different from the 100s of posts in here. But I'm writing this one to let someof you know that you can get into really tough sets and be successful if you are confident & add value .
On last weekend I was getting out to sarge and at the subway there was this family. My traget was a 22yr old brunnett with a smiling face and a look that says that she is upto some mischief. Her older brother was 28yrs, looked protective and dad a fire fighter.
She and I locked eyes for 5-7 seconds and she gave me the look "you are out of luck, cant talk to me, what are you going do!" I gave a smile conveying to her "wait and watch"...I'm up for challenge
I went up to the dad and over my shoulder asked him if he has been waiting here for long for his train. He said close to 5 mins. Immediately I asked the mother who was standing next to us and looking at me that it must be wonderful to have the entier family out together. Then she and I got into a chat about how its been long since I have been home and that I and my mom are really close.
So the dad, mother and I started chatting about family and I quickly turned the conversation to how parents miss kids when they are away. Etc etc.. fluff
Next I bring the brother into the conv and started talking about wht he does, whats he passionate about (the guy is a painter), so fluff about painting and some art galleries I had visited. So I had brother, mom and dad in a conv.
I then tell the mom that she has a talented son and ask her what about her daughter, what is she into. My target looks and me with a smile knowing fully well my game and I could tell that she is loving it.
Mom: Oh she goes to NYU for her undergrad major in business
Marc: Thats nice, So your going to be our night in shining armour who would save us from a dying economy.
(everyone laughs)
Target: (laughingly) I'll try.. What do you do.
Marc: on weekends I get out and talk to people in the subway
(everyone laughs).
Marc: (turing to dad). So what do you do.
Dad: I'm a firefighter
Marc: wow !! That is very brave of you I dont know if i'd be able to do that ever.
Mom: yeah he is brave and I get worried for him
Marc: well glad that your son has different interest and your daughter isnt dating a firefighter
(everyone laughs)
Mom: yeah, he scares her dates off.
Then we get into talk about dating and how my parents would worry about my imaginary 2 little sisters and I would be protective about them and concerned about their well being.
After somemore fluff, I chat up the girl, 6-7 IOI's, teasing, pulling her legs a little, building attraction look towards her father and go like. "Sir, your daughter is such a wonderful person, she seems to have the best qualities of the two of you. I'd like to ask her to the game over the weekend, ofcourse if I have your permission" (All this said by giving value to the dad but not exactly in a beta male style).
Dad: Sure, you should ask her.
Did some quick jokes about how I thought he would punch me in the face fluff, she laughed and I number closed her.
All this done in less than 10-15mins, from talking to the dad to getting on the train and getting off at my stop.
BTW, I got off around 3 mins after I got her number, and that wasnt even my stop. I had to take another train to catch up with my friends 30 mins late

But it was worth it
