Okay, so I posted the initial event here:
fr-customer-gave-me-her-number-no-quest ... 69521.html
I txted her the next day and today (Monday) I called her. She said she was headed into the City and would be free between her voice lessons and work and that we should get coffee. She txts me a half hour later suggesting we get food.
We got together at 3:30 near Madison Square Park and I mention that there's this place I've been wanting to go, so we head there. We talk and I'm telling DHV stories to prime the convo and then let it take it's natural course.
I made sure to be confident, good body posture, try to always be leading, some very very light negging, and I had her laughing the whole time (not sure how, b/c it wasn't really that funny; IOI!).
I also embedded future plans into our conversation (go to see the circus; recite her some Middle English poetry another time IF she's good). Then I walked with her over to her job.
We passed the Museum of Sex and this reminded me that I was lacking something in this interaction: kino and sexualized conversation! I was being a very interesting guy, yes, but also a nice guy, and I fear the evil friend-zone! I tried to sexualize durign the last five to ten minutes (nothing too overt; gotta stay congruent) but it was too little too late, I think.
Outside her job I had my one and only semi-AFC moment (but last impressions are, indeed, lasting), and said that I didn't have any work shifts until Thursday, so she should give me a ring if she wants to meet up. Then I walked away, no hug, nothing (she's shorter than me, and I'm REALLY not used to that, so it seemed awkward to try--I'm not familiar with the mechanics, lol).
Am I just overthinking the ending to this micro-date? Any thoughts? Suggestions?
