| For one thing, don't go into the field without a gameplan. "Fluff" talk won't get you anywhere. Always keep a list of gambits in your back pocket or in your phone so that you have something to refer to if you blank out. You can just open your phone, act like your reading a text and continue on. Make sure when you neg the girls, the neg should be a compliment. If you say, "Hey, you're short" that is not a proper neg. It might work sometimes but it could be more powerful. For example, I was at the gym and I ran into an HB8. She said she liked playing soccer. I negged her by saying, "Your too nice of a girl to play soccer. You probably apologize every time you steal the ball"
Also, always know when to roll off. If you see that the girls are feeling uneasy and creeped out but you keep on gaming them, not only are you creeping them out but you are demonstrating lower value to the rest of your room, and it can affect future sets.
When you open, you have to hook your set, and convey higher value or an interesting lifestyle. "hi, how are you doing" isn't going to cut it unless you have some kind of great follow up." Since you are just starting out, I encourage you memorize canned material. I like the g string opener.
Once you've opened your set, build attraction through DHV stories and by being genuinely interesting. Always have several gambits and games in your head so you can multi-thread.
A good way to get a number is to plan an event halfway through. For example you can open with something about pedicures and end by saying something along the lines of, hey put your number in here, and we'll go get pedicures together.
Or you simply say somehting like, "You're the most interesting person I've met all night, and I would love to continue this conversation"
Then hand the phone and she'll put it in. Make sure you've built up enough attraction though.
Follow my advice for now, and you should get some number closes. Once you've gotten the hang of opening and building attraction, you can work on building rapport and kiss closing and whatnot. Hope it helps.
