Not eating meat is a decision, eating meat is an instinct.
That's a common misconception. If you put a raw steak next to a baby it won't eat it.
Seriously? I doubt if you put a tofu bar next to a baby it would eat that either! Fuck!
Everything you consume can be bad for you if you consume in access.
I'm a vegetarian and I think tofu is disgusting. Kids like fruit though. Maybe because it tastes sweet, which is because it is healthy - that's why we get addicted to sugar, it tricks us that it's healthy. It's not.
Sweet tastes taste good because it's an indicator of healthy food (like fruit and berries), that's simply how we biologically work. The other side of the coin is bitter tastes which is an indicator of poisnous food, such as unedible berries. Ya don't need to trust ME on this, it's just biology. You can look it up yourself.
Put a raw steak next to a baby (yeah, RAW meat because we're omnivores/carnivores, right?) and I'll give you a thousand bucks if you can make him eat it. Now put some mashed banana/apple/strawberry next to a baby and it will eat it with pleasure. This is science, so let's all sit back and relax a bit and not get feisty.
-We Have Been Designed by Evolution to Eat Meat and Other Animal Foods.
Nope. We've been "designed" by our culture. Actually, when your body breaks down the animal flesh you put inside your body it has to extract chemicals from your
bones in order to break it down. That's not good - and not much in common with any other omnivore species. You know in school when you found out your intestines are about ten times your length? That's cool and all, but did you also know why they're that long? It's because we're designed to break down fiber-rich food like plants and fruit, like all other herbivores. Omni- and carnivores have MUCH shorter intestines because they don't need all that distance to break down their food. Fascinating as fuck.
-Meat is Incredibly Nutritious.
Nuh-uh. Meat contains fats, protein and a bit iron. But it contains little to none vitamins, fibers or antioxidants crucial to keep a healthy immune system and toxic-free body. On the other hand, meat contains a shitload of IGF-1 which has been identified to induce cancer. That's part of the reason why you shouldn't eat raw meat at all, and why cancer patients are recommended to stay off red meat. Trust me, I've red a couple of books on this subject.
Vegetarians have a lower risk of getting cardio diseases and a higher chance of beating cancer, by about 30% respectively. I'll hook you up on some source material and literature if you want to read more about this.
So, nah, meat isn't very nutritious. The only vitamin a vegan lacks for choosing not to consume meat is vitamin B12 - that's it. Speaking for myself, I was sick all the time while eating meat (I got the cold every two months or so). After becoming vegetarian I've only had the cold two times of the course of 1½ years. That's mind boggling to me.
-(Unprocessed) Meat Doesn't Raise Your Risk of Cardiovascular Disease or Diabetes.
-Meat Contains High Quality Protein, Which is Crucial For The Function of Muscles and Bones.
Who told you that, bro?

That's nonsense.
-There is Only a Very Weak Correlation With Cancer, Which May be Due to Overcooking (char), NOT the Meat Itself.
IGF-1 is a hormone that's commonly agreed causes cancer, and it exists in all animal products, cooked or uncooked. Also, the fats in animal food is not healthy and can induce increased production of estrogens (you know, female hormone) which is a serious cause for cancer - that's why breast cancer gets more and more common as we consume more and more meat according to several studies. There were extremely few cases of breast cancer in Japan before asian culture became americanized and they began eating pizza and hamburgers instead of vegetables and fish - cancer cases and cardiovascular diseases have increased in asia ever since.
Cancer cases is, on the other hand, extremely rare in india. You know why? Yep, you guessed it, because India is a mostly vegetarian country. And they eat a lot of curry which is contains cancer inhibitive substances.
-There Are No Proven Health Benefits to Avoiding Meat, only misleading propaganda, trumped up by candy ass bunny/squirrel huggers, raised by single drugged out hippy mothers. That while pregnant watched "Bambi'" tripping on LSD.
Whatever you say. Every vegetarian I've met says they all feel like a million dollars compared to before they became veggie. But I suppose they're all suffering from self-deceiving placebo. I mean, all those extra vitamins, minerals and fibers consumed by eating vegetables, fruits and beans couldn't possibly be good for the body, right?

Yeah about that...
- Meat Tastes Incredibly Fucking Good!
Steak, roast chicken, lamb chops…BACON!!!! Nuff said.
Yeah, I agree 101% on that. Bacon is the fucking shit when it comes to taste. But I tried eating bacon 6 months ago and had to spit it out because the only thing I could taste in my mouth was rotten flesh.
