Im going to go ahead and have to disagree with RVAIS on this one, loading yourself up on Caffeine and sugar is a bad idea for working out, as both are diuretics and caffeine will make your heart rate skyrocket while working out, more than it is supposed to.

That could lead to issues with your heart later on in life, and has been linked to early age heart attacks (this is why ephedrine was pulled off of the market).

It is also one of the best ways to suffer from heat stroke/exhaustion, even if you are drinking water. Hydration takes a while, so if you ever do *anything* strenuous, make sure you drink plenty of water the DAY BEFORE, even if it's in the winter.

If you want a pre-workout supplement to help you out get a good NO2 product that has NO caffeine in it (Studies have shown that Caffeine negates NO2 effects) and that isn't loaded with other crazy shit. You really only need taurine (if at all) and NO2.

I will agree with you overall caffenine is not good at all, the point I was trying to make is you don' t need to go the supplement route.

and though I don't believe in any supplementatio I did find this interesting study on NO2

Yeah, NO2 worked wonders for me when I first started out. It does definitely make a difference at first, and to some extent even now. I use it myself, but only to allow me to make faster gains as it allows more blood flow to muscles (vaso-dialator) and gives you more fuel to those muscles being worked.

Just gotta be careful not to over stress the muscles and bones when you first start using it as it WILL allow you to increase your strength a shit ton right away, and if you go as hard as you feel you can go you will injure yourself as those muscles, bones, and joints are not used to the stress being exerted on them.

I was just in my local supplement store last week and I was about to pick up my 1st bottle of Jack3d 3d but instead he said to try an alternative direct competitor called VPX Anarchy. Same size bottle, okay taste, not a bad pre-workout so far.

I wouldn't say I'm raging ready to throw up some extremely heavy weights or anything. But, I don't know about you guys after a tub of No Xplode it seems like I have a huge tolerance built up. So I switch to something else then usually always go back. haha.

Btw... worst pre-workout I've tried is Horse Power. Crazy tingly scalp and whole body. Was so intense was I couldn't even focus on the workout.

I can't wait to try Jacked next!

I mixed BSN NO Xplode and jack3d the other day.
Had a workout like no other.
Jack3d made my stomach hurt badly.
Felt as if I were about to throw up but it does do its job until you feel you need to puke.
