Apologies, we kind of went off topic.
I'll give you advice on not "how you should speak to people online" but how it can improve your chances. Firstly, I think some people would agree that any type of facebook posts or an over amount of time being spent on the internet is DLV. I know this girl in a school I was at 5 months ago, she's basically voted the hottest girl in the school but uses an over amount of time on twitter, facebook and bebo posting silly insignificant things like "I dunno what to have, a cheese beano or beans on toast." See the hidden meaning behind that? She's basically saying "I dunno what to have for breakfast, someone please choose for me because I'm so indecisive" and because of her beauty people respond. These people have DLV.
I tend to refrain from using all my time on facebook, bebo, twitter etc and use my time on the internet more constructively. Such as putting commitment into this community and getting the same amount of investment out of it.
Now the conversation in general, do you ever notice that people online tend to speak in a "typical msn conversation"? Basically, its the opener - hey, hi, hello followed by a question such as hows you? The recipitent will answer and then there won't be an exchange of words but questions, noticed how you done this. Make up an interesting convo and stick to it for several minutes, this generates a comfort level which would be enough of improving your chances of getting her out. A typical msn convo is used by everyone but showing you are different will arouse her interest.
