Hey guys,

So I've already had a few dates with this girl I met a while ago.
They were all great fun, she cooked for me, we had sex, she invited me to watch her show (she's a professional ballet dancer). Really cool girl.
Yesterday I met up with her again, I think for the 4th time -- she suggested dinner and a movie and I was fine with that. But it turned out to be the most awkward date I've ever had.
It all started from the moment I met her at the restaurant, weird vibes. Throughout the night things just got weirder and I started to panic and made every mistake in the book, I started making stupid jokes and just acted like an idiot.
At the end, she gave me a hug even though I wanted to go for a kiss. She said this was a weird night, I agreed. I'm leaving the country for 2 weeks so she said we'll see when I get back.
I feel like texting her, but I can't think of anything that won't make the situation worse.

Do you guys have any suggestions here?

She had sex with you so you can probably make a few mistakes and still be in a strong position. I would of of done Netflix and chill and not restaurants personally till you're physically synced with each other. Sounds like you're wanting a relationship out of her but that's up to you to ruin your life I guess.

Just pretend it never happened. You should be texting each other at this point like how you and your mates/family would text each other. If she isn't reciprocating though, then you could be in damage control. I would suggest to text her and gauge her interest so you don't drive yourself crazy for 2 weeks.

You can also just state that you were not yourself that night, you don't know why you made it awkward Bla Bla and make a joke out of it.

I agree with this, I'd probably say I was having a bad day but I didn't want it to rub off on her so I tried to make sure she had fun, and I'm sorry if I turned it awkward (I'd only mention it once, and I'd do it when we're right in the middle of a conversation, so it doesn't look like I'm trying to use it to get a conversation back or something

@Heywood Jablowme, yes it was me. Although she's generally reserved, I was probably the cause of it. I don't know what came over me, just got stuck inside my head.

Too much "game" on your side caused this weirdness I'm sure. You've already had sex, so every meeting should be light and fun.

Don't try too hard to crack jokes and get out of your head whiles having a normal conversation. Pay more attention and listen whiles she talk.
