Yeah, you can confirm with friends. Shit happens. For a girl you havent met yet or even slept with, I wouldnt confirm though, just because there are more effective ways to confirm, ie mentioning something interesting or funny and seeing if she responds. If a girl wants to see you, doesnt really matter what you send her. If she's going to flake, shes going to flake.
