So here is the set up.

I met up with a friend who I haven't seen in a long time. She asked me, hey my friends are wanting to do some beer pong you want to come with? I say sure sounds like fun.

We go over to the apartment were the beer pong is happening. When we first get there its my friend, the owners of the apartment ( a couple ) and I. We will call the male owner Bob.

We run to the local grocery store right quick so I could get a case of beer. I mean hey we are playing beer pong it only makes sense lol.

So I have a smile on my face. I first introduce myself to the guy and then girl.

The girls leave to go get some beer so its just me and the guy in the apartment. I notice he is playing a video game I have played before. So we start talking about the game and just gaming in general.

The couples roommate gets home from work and I stand up shake his hand, smile and introduce myself. We will call the roommate Bill.

The girls get back and we start playing beer pong. Its just the five of us.

I am engaging everyone, smiling and just having a good time. Everyone else is having a good time as well.

There gets to a point were its Bobs girlfriend and I against Bob and my friend in a game of beer pong. I do not hit on the girlfriend or anything like that. Yeah, I talked to her but that's it. Just talk to her about whatever. No negs, no gaming, no nothing. Just talking

After the game I see the girls talking about something.

My friend walks outside to have a cigarette and I join her.

I ask her if everything is okay. She says how Bob is a bit uncomfortable with me being there. She said how most of the time besides Bill he is the only guy there.

I honestly think nothing of it. I already have a girlfriend. I am not trying to get with his.. I just want to hangout and play beer pong. For the rest of the night Bob is stand offish with me. Bill had no problems.

For the rest of the night I am engaging everyone cracking jokes making people laugh. Talking about whatever. Next thing you know the others engage me and I am not really doing anything to standout. Just being myself. I like to smile and i like to make others smile.

End of the night comes and everyone says their good byes.

So what do you guys think? I know I did nothing wrong, but I just want others two cents. Did I just out alpha the alpha male in his own home on accident lol?

Nah, you just made a beta of the group feel inferior ^^
A real alpha wouldn't feel threatened by you at all, a beta however sees you as a potential threat to his friends, connections and his position in the pack in general.

So, no prizes for you you didn't out alpha an alpha ;P

If I were in your place, I woulda went and confronted the dude, asking him why he's so insecure. No one's trying to steal his life.
Also, steer away from "just talking" to girls. Game them. 24/7.
