Today I tried hitting on this girl I just met, but the conversation went no where and soon died out.It was actually pretty awkward (I don't care about that as much, I'm okay with failure) I see her around school sometimes. My main problem was my opener though: It was something canned: it went something like this"hi, I'm doing this project where I have to say hi to the first attractive girl I see." Only I sounded really nervous and my voice was kind of shaky (definitely not smooth.) Also, I asked way to many questions (what type of music she liked/etc.)

It's okay with me that the conversation was pretty much an overall failure, but do you think I should even try again? Or is it going to be to much of a hassle because I already messed it up with my first approach?

Well first and foremost good job for approaching. You just did more then like 80% of guys would do.

But yeah move on man, there are so many chicks out there it's ridiculous the more you approach and talk to the better you will get no doubt about it.

Maybe hit her up a while from now when you've done some more sarging if you really really want too, but by that point she just be a nobody in your head anyway.

Yeah, I did a little more sarging today, and I think I'm getting a little better. But I figure if I see her again on the bus or something it won't kill me to re-approach her, so I think I'd just play it a littler better/be more confident.

Atta boy! Yeah man if you see her around ain't no reason to not start a convo. Just don't make her a priority and you'll be fine.
