- "The Runner's Handbook" by Bob Glover and Jack Shepherd (looks a bit dated; I still need to read it but it is a National Bestseller and I love running)
- "Fitness is Religion" by Ray Kybartas (beautiful motivational book - highly recommended)
- Various Men's Health training guides (chock full of info - I should finish reading them)
- "Yoga Mind and Body" (only cost me 25 cents and has some great pictures and info)
- "Body for Life" by Bill Phillips (this is a body changing book/experience if you are willing to put the time and effort into it.)
- Various golfing books (I have yet to read many of these)
- "Tao of Jeet Kune Do" by Bruce Lee (this is his world famous fighting philosophy put into book form. Highly recommended for anybody interested in martial arts/combat)
- "Yoga Class" by Gary Bromley (small book with lots of pics and good info from the looks of it)
- "The Power of Tai Chi" by Master Shao Zhao-Ming (small book with a lot of good history and techniques)
- "The Complete Idiot's Gudie to Ultimate Fighting" by Rich "Ace" Franklin and Jon F. Merz (Very basic but thorough book on MMA/UFC)
- "Boxing Mastery" by Mark SPAM (very detailed on how to jab, cross, uppercut, and maybe some footwork in there too.)
- "Scrawny to Brawny: The Complete Guide to Building Muscle the Natural Way" by Michael Mejia and John Berardi (One of the reasons I wrote this post; a new bible to turn you from a skinny "girly man" into a muscly beast faster than any other (LEGAL) program I have seen. You might be bench pressing live females in no time at all)
- "Gentle Yoga for Healing" by Annalisa Cunningham (Great instructor I had in college with a beautiful full color book. This is definitely one to read if you are interested in yoga.)
- Various books on martial arts philosophy including capoeira and Krav Maga...
I don't have time to go through all my Kindle books and list them. I did just purchase "The U.S. Navy SEAL Guide to Fitness and Nutrition" though. I read an older copy of the fitness guide and saw a good price on the Kindle version of this fantastic guide. Navy SEALs are tough mofos. We can probably learn a thing or two from them.
Any questions?
