I'd like to discuss a topic that has surely been talked about a number of times, but I still haven't got an answer. I've got an issue with the shoes, and I've noticed recently just how much a pair of Nikes can fuck your look up.

I really want new shoes that look like men's shoes, not young man's shoes. How cool are desert boots? I think they're pretty neat, give quite a masculine look depending on which model. My style would be just jeans and a nice shirt, nothing excessively sophisticated. What shoes would be discreet but help stand out from other guys of my age (around 20)? And what shoes would you all wear, if I can get your personal taste when it comes to shoes?

The key to a quality pair of shoes is to make sure they are leather-soled and that the body of the shoe is sewn, not glued, to the sole. They will not be inexpensive, but I assure you, women will notice.

As far as style goes, this is the only brand I wear: http://www.marknason.com

Hes on the money.
Also check out Aldo, Cole Haan, Sperry, and Rockport shoes.

As for the guy who mentioned chucks. All I have to say about those is 95% of those shoes are down right hideous.

Yeah, they're definitely class... I suppose you have to be quite confident to wear them, though. I was looking for something a bit more sober, but it's a great choice. I live in Switzerland, so getting my hands on a pair of Mark Nasons might be a bit complicated for me... I'd have to order them over the internet, and unless I already know what size would suit me best, that's not a great idea. I'm going shopping in Italy next week, so I hope to find some cool and cheap stuff. Levi's and Clarks boots look quite cool, too.

As for Chucks, they go well on some people, but not on me. I can't imagine wearing a pair of those.

If you decide to order Mark Nasons online without trying them on, order them one size smaller than your other dress shoes. They tend to run large.

I went to nearby Italy to get some dark brown desert boots, from a brand called NeroGiardini... great stuff, but sometimes gives me a sore heel... I have to wear'em to use them a bit.

A shoe is an item of footwear intended to protect and comfort the human foot while doing various activities. Shoes are also used as an item of decoration. The design of shoes has varied enormously through time and from culture to culture, with appearance originally being tied to function.

I agree with serj and it's too common, you might want to buy something that other people doesn't wear. Honestly speaking as long as your shoes is clean then you are good to go!

Can't go wrong with some Jeffery West boots...
