I've noticed something different about myself ever since I've learned about the community. Now, first and foremost, I like personality tests. I'm the kind of guy who'll agonize over each and ever question, come up with elaborate situations that mirror the question just so I'll answer correctly, and then research my results to see how well they compare to me. Personality tests are like cigarettes to me, like looking in the mental mirror. I tell you this so no one thinks this is a fluke.

I use the same Myers-Briggs Personality quiz (the kind the gives you a four letter personality profile) every few months of so, and, at first, it was fairly consistent. INTJ...INTJ...INTJ...etc. Then, I discovered the community, immersed myself in the material, worked on inner game, etc. Next time I took the test, I had gone from INTJ to ISTP. That's a big shift from what I was before. I guess I didn't realize how pervasive these attitudes were.

Anyway. Find a Myers-Briggs quiz, take it, and post results. It'll be interesting to see if PUAs are all gravitating towards one personality type.

ENTP. I read the description and I'm not sure how well it applies. Interesting though.

You are still most likely to be an INTJ
the results became ISTP because of the pua materials that you've read. but it's just temporary

most core personality do not change (even before birth the temperament is there)
what you can change is your behaviors and outlook towards the world

p.s. I'm an ISTP. I let my students take this test before bootcamp to know how they approach the world and know how can I approach them better through coaching

It's kind of funny that I found this post. I was just thinking about if there was a dominant personality type when it comes to pick up.

I'm definitely a ENFP. I did a lot of test and studying about personality types and careers when I was trying to find another career to go into.

I'm an ENTJ and I take the test every 3 months. I've been an ENTJ for the last 4 years (ever since the first time I took it).

Tell me something about myself that I don't know, I dare you!

The MBTI was a pretty darn good type-indicator, but I also stumbled upon another type-indicator that was more simple, yet it described me pretty well. It's called the True Colors Personality Test. I'm an orange. You guys probably haven't heard of it, so check it out, and read up on it, it's cool. :) http://www.truecolorstest.com/

INFJ here. In a nutshell, introverted, smart and way too much in my mind.

But it might have changed after 6 months in the Game. Where can I do the test again for free?

Whoever said Myers-Briggs is set before birth is not accurate. And please everyone, take
psychology with a grain of salt, it's not an exact science..or even solid science for that matter.

As many as 80% of people who were surveyed months later had another personality type.
But that doesn't mean this information is not useful, you only care about the personality type
of a person in that time you are getting to know them.. So it's still useful, but grain of salt.

However, being pre-disposed to certain things biologically is true, it doesn't mean you don't constantly
fight certain things or become certain ways.. It's like an addict, and addict will always desire, but
they become very good at repressing those desires if they have quit for awhile.. Doesn't mean you go around trying to give them drugs when you meet them because you know their drive.. And this applies well here, do you give the recovering addict drugs, do you assume they are totally changed? Do you assume they will relapse?

None of that matters in pick-up. It only matters who they are at the time you are engaged with them so you can sell your wares best, and be savvy enough to know if they are lying to themselves or you if you can.

I discuss this more with my advanced course students and how video game player types apply.
