Has anyone else used this opener? Seems to work effectively online and gets the conversation flowing - obviously you can only use this when doing a search in your local area but seems to work a treat at the moment, early days yet.

Trying to limit messaging to a maximum of 4 or 5 before getting a number, read through various guides and they offer conflicting advice - how early do you leave it before getting their number?

That opener works only on certain girls. Other girls will ignore and it will not catch there attention. I've written a guide to how to do successful online openers on my site you can check out if u want. There's no rule to how much messages you send a person, if you do it right and get her attention and interest you can do 10 messages a day because she'll reply fast. Just make sure to lead the conversation to create a connection and a number closing point. Feel free to PM me if you have questions, good luck.

I would not recommend it, i only use it with girls that friend add me.
usually girls tend to send this to me, i usually respond with
"Maybe, we met in Paris!" (if she took it serious, DHV. if not, it's funny)
...
"Ahh, Okay. but we can still get to know each other."

I look at this as the online equivalent of the wack real life opener "Come here often?"

When I started dabbling in online I thought it was a fair question. I soon realized it was just bad game. As AK says, it works only on a type. I've never had it lead to a number or date.
