Now, I know I always get the hard topics that nobody else wants to tackle so this is going to stir up some controversy but it works.

We all know that dress is important to any PUA but how to dress or what way to go about to pick your own style of dress is always so controversial. The truth is a lot of you refuse to admit the truth to yourself even if it is conscious or sub-conscious.

Doesn't matter because I'm going to give you the secret to attraction.

After all we're not attracted by what we don't see but what we do see. Right?! Right.. Logically. Sometimes our teachers over look things.

So the best way to dress in all honesty to attract hot, gorgeous, powerful women is to dress like a straight thug.

I mean this is a no brainer. Baggy pants in some Nike airforces with your wife beater on to show off your tattoos plus a hat or a bandana on is a sure fire way to attract girls. This type of dress is soo taboo that doing so is right down peacocking theory in the field. Also it displays alpha status, it shows that you will protect her and it is down right SEXY. Yes, completely and utterly sexy to women is dressing like a straight thug.

So this is what they call in the game the moment where you have to forget everything to relearn what you already know. Or something like that..

Dress like a thug? Seriously?

Maybe if you want to attract black chicks. But just because you look like you came from the hood doesn't mean you're alpha anything or protective. Now don't get me wrong, this look will work for certain people but not everyone.

Can you imagine a little white nerd with glasses dressed like a thug? He'd have girls telling him denials not just a river in egypt.

I think people just need find whatever look matches them the best, whether its skinny jeans, ed hardy pretty boy, gothic, or whatever.

totally depends on what kind of girl your looking for and what type of place your going. If you need general fashion tips I would say you need to grab some magazines like GQ and start looking. Your dress doesn't make that much of a difference. But some basics; first buy cloths that fit, I always recommend that guys keep one close female friend that can help them shop when needed. but cloths that fit well, not too loose (that makes you look like a slob) and not too tight (that'll make you look gay) the wider at the shoulders you look the better. Be well groomed, shave everyday this doesn't mean you have to be clean shaven but groom everyday. keep a good hair style. something a little different not the normal combed to the side. if you don't know what to do, pay for a good hair cut (no more less than 50$) and tell the stylist you don't know what you want you just want a new fresh look and let her/him go nuts.



I'll give you two basic looks I normally wear.


On a normal day out at a pub/bar.

(I'm an electrical contractor)
Carhartt pants, Redwing work boots, sporty looking sunglasses like oakley's, a t-shirt that fits snug on the shoulder and arms, an embossed leather belt and a big ass 4.5" by 3.5 inch polished silver belt buckle. I also wear some kind of necklaces not real tight and not real loose. something that shows off you neck a little.

A lot of girls are into the rugged look on guys and this is basic, fits me and is cheap too.

Clubs I dress a little more classy, here's a basic rundown

Designer stone washed jeans, square toed oxford style dress shoes (cleanly polished) Clean and pressed pin-stripped button down shirt unbuttoned to the 4th, clean black under shirt that hugs the neck well, prada sunglasses, two chains one that's not too tight not too loose and shows off the neck and a second that's loose with something on it, I normally wear one with St. Christopher which makes a good convo peace most the time, and last some kind of bracelet normally a T&C cuff I got off ebay for about 100$

I also wear earrings 2g and I switch those up sometimes anything from 1.5" stainless loops to hand blown glass to tigers eye stone plugs

this is a little more GQ look and works well in clubs, I'm not much for peacocking I feel being well dressed works on more girls and you don't look like a complete tool.




Honestly dude look for something that fits you, fits well and take a girl shopping, they love it and it'll keep you from looking like a fool.

I dont disrespect your theory.
But you have to be honest about it and realize the truth to the thug look you're talking about. The only people in this whole wide world that fits in this look is afro americans.
A white dude would just look stupid and an asian dude would look funny.
And the thug look mostly work in the US since all the big rappers lives there and dresses like that. In europe this is more a "skate-boarding" style than a thug look.
Real thugs then I mean real criminals do not dress like a thug, they got style since they got cash. They use fashion brands since they can afford it.

But why do you want to be something you're not?
If you dress like a thug, and you aren't one, whats the point you will emberess yourself?
You maybe attract a hoodrat or two, but when they realize your just a wannabe they will say "We're just gonna go to the bathroom." and you know whats up then.
Thugs speak in a special way, they act in a special way, they are special people.
Thugs has their own attitude, their own personality.
And personally I think the thugs in US don't dress good, because their money depends on who has the biggest chain, or who has the nicest car or the most baggiest jeans. A real thug can afford it all and even some nice fashion brand clothes, like thugs in europe.

Fashion attracts women, and use fashion brands.
I always used fashion brands like gant, lyle and scott, lacoste, raulph lauren, abercrombie. Its easy to wear and it blends in, instead of gucci and prada and georgio armani or dior since people will wonder if its fake or not.. If you're not 50 cent because everybody knows he's rich.

A guy who can pull off a proper thugged out look will be considered respectable, charming, exciting, polite, friendly and approachable to a woman all the things afcs want to be but can't because they don't know how to get this effect, well this is one way.

To make fun of a white guy and a chinese guy because they're dressed a certain way where I'm from is considered racism and is a DLV.

The point of what I posted was to give you examples of styles that have worked well for me and are far from thug. The best thing is to find a style that works well for you and run with it, if you dress like a thug and talked like a computer nerd what do you think a girl is going to think (poser).

The most important thing to remember when it comes to dress is to wear well fitting cloths and to be well groomed that's really about it. If you want to peacock to get the some attention more power to you, but in my years of PUA I've found that 1. you dress really doesn't matter much as long as your well groomed. 2. The best way to "peacock" is in a far more indirect fashion for me it's some designer accessories at a massive discount off ebay.

Now, based on both you original post as well as you attacking nature of my reply I feel like you might have some deeper identity issues than just your dress. I for one have never had to dress like a thug to get girls, I find the thug look to me childish and unattractive. Many many guys look for excuses when they're not getting what they want and I have heard every excuse in the book "I don't have the right look, I'm too skinny, I'm too fat, I don't have enough money, I'm too short, I'm too tall" none of these things really matter that much.

If you think I'm wrong and the only reason I get what I have is because of money (which I really don't have that much of) than why are you posting instead of out buy some thug gear? if that's what really worked I'd be out buying everything 5 sizes too big right now but honestly your seeing these guy get success based on a bad boy don't give a fuck attitude, not a a sideways hat and air Jordan's

take it for what it's worth or make more excuses, your choice.

As for me, when I see some guy dressed as a thug I stay far away. My personal opinion is that it looks COMPLETELY classless and gives the impression that you belong in prison or the Jerry Springer Show. Now if you want to attract a THUG type girl, go for it. You're on the right track.

When choosing clothing, realize that you are crafting an image that speaks volumes about a yourself. You are communicating who you are to a women before you ever speak a word. You should think about your ideal woman first and then dress accordingly. It's like advertising, consider the demographics of your HB10, then develop a strategy that appeals to her.

To me, noone screams style more than David Beckham, or think Pierce Brosnan in the Thomas Crowne Affair. Sharp, classy, and a touch of edgy bad boy thrown in somehow. Did you ever see James Bond wear baggy jeans? I don't think so, and he gets ALL the ladies.

Not sure about the 100% success rate. I have never seen a dude dressed like a thug leave the club with an attractive women. Things might be different in other places, but from where I'm from quality 10s don't get all dressed up to meet thugs.

Fitted dress shirts, straight fit or 501 jeans and some nice shoes for night life work for me. Also I don't know about you guys but I get a lot of complements when I wear an argyle sweater or sweater vest. Might look like Bill Cosby, but it works.

I think everyone needs to figure out their own style and what works best for them, I'm sure some "thug" looking guy get girls but who knows what the rest of their game is like, to put all your eggs in one basket and to think if you dress a certain way you're going to get laid is just silly.

The thug look does work in my experience, but your alpha game has to be on or they will see through it! Depends on your approach..

Ok OP, I am going out to buy some baggy ass jeans that droop down to my ankles, big ass timberland boots that is a size or 3 bigger than my norm, some white t-shirts and a basketball tank top, about 50lbs of gold chains and have my hair braided into chords. Did I miss anything?

OP does have a point - depending on where you go and your target girls..
For example, that's something I'd do in Queens, not Manhattan. And me, a skinny Bangladeshi guy, that looks stupid.

I also think the GQ looks stupid depending on the place you go. Me? I go to tons of dive bars. Nice fitting jeans (borderline skinny), fitted T-shirts/polo shirts/henleys, and sneakers. Yes, sneakers. I wear the padded chuck taylors now. In college, I used to be all peacocky with these pink chuck taylors.

IMO, interesting shoes are a good thing to take note of. My friend once said when a girl meets you, the first thing she'll look at is your shoes.

I've also never liked the dress shirt/jeans/dress shoes look. If I'm going to wear a dress shirt and dress shoes, I might as well wear khakis..

I've never let a guy dressed like a thug into one of my clubs (aside from the bodyguards of a few rappers) but seriously this is a joke. The only type of girls who are going to feel safe around guys like this are remarkably insecure girls, probably teenagers.

The best way to dress to get laid easy is a way most of us can't afford. If you dress in Georgio Armani(not emporio or exchange) and wear a sleek rollex with some nice shoes, go to an upmarket club the only thing you'll have to do is prevent the gold diggers from using you. They will come home with you and worship you and yes, sleep with you without you having to do much.

But since most of us can't afford that, anything but a thug or someone without any real style at all should be fine.
