why fear it, i got that last Friday, so i was like oh ok, well i got one you've never heard before and i gave her the how much does a bear weight one and she loved it...remember guys be quick on your feat, the canned opener is JUST AN OPENER its what you do after that really matters.

agreed. Yea you can get shot down with a bad opener but most the time it doesn't matter, you just need something to say that say hey give me your attention and allows you to come in under the radar... It doesn't have to be clever or original, as long as it provokes a response or interests them...

i agree with you, but the first time I met her, my opener led into our discussion about a person who didn't really exist. By asking her the same question again 2 weeks later, it was obvious that the whole basis of our original conversation was fabricated.

but in essence I agree with you......
